"Carmody will work with Aviva's sales teams to develop new and existing relationships with financial institution clients and will help to facilitate cross-border business," the publication stated.

The former director of business development for the firm's Europe, the Middle East and Africa institutional wealth management division will also focus on partnering financial institutions seeking an asset manager with an aligned global reach.
