Conservative government to 'perform drastic surgery' on jobs
People looking for sales jobs could be boosted if the Conservative Party come into power at the next general election, it has been claimed.
David Willetts, the shadow secretary for innovation, universities and skills, said that England's careers service will be given a major overhaul.
He told the Financial Times that the careers service has "collapsed" under Labour, explaining the problems that the country has with social mobility.
"There is a massive information and advice problem here and its actually getting worse," he told sales recruitment hopefuls.
If the Conservatives come into power, they plan to set up an all-age careers service that would advise teenagers at school and also people throughout their working lives if they are looking for their next sales recruitment opportunity.
Earlier in the week, David Cameron, the party leader, said that he is hoping to fix England's "broken" planning system by creating a host of new jobs.
