Sales recruitment hopefuls 'need to be flexible'
Those who are hunting sales recruitment positions need to make sure that they are remaining flexible to give themselves the best chance of gaining employment, according to an expert.
Steve Huxham, chairman of the Recruitment Society, said that while there may be a lack of flexible job opportunities out there at the moment, candidates also have a duty to make sure that they are remaining open to different possibilities as well.
"I think that people who are, unfortunately, between jobs do need to make sure that they are also flexible. It is not a one way street," he added.
Mr Huxham also said that as firms' confidence improves, then this will bring with it a rise in recruitment as they will be more positive about their future.
The expert's comments come on the back of a survey by Keep Britain Working which showed that around 44 per cent of people said that the lack of flexible positions presented difficulties for them.
