Recruiting sales professionals 'can have massive impact'

Businesses looking to grow as the economy continues to get moving should ensure that they hire new sales stars to help their quest, according to an industry expert.

Rob Scott, blogging for Aaron Wallis, said that talented sales recruitment hopefuls will "have a massive impact on your business".

Investing in marketing is also a key measure which people in sales jobs should take.

"Don't be afraid to invest in marketing to support and enable your sales efforts. Top businesses are already doing this and using a combination of new and traditional methods of getting their message across to their market," advised Mr Scott.

This has been backed up by a recent survey by the Interactive Advertising Bureau, which showed that marketing professionals are set to spend more on online ads than they ever have done this year.

Getting sales professionals fired up and ready for the recovery will also help a firm grow.

This might mean identifying any areas which need to be brushed up on, while training a sales team to do more and do things better will also be a beneficial exercise, according to Mr Scott.
