Recruitment agencies geared to helping people back into sales jobs
An event will be held today aimed at helping sales recruitment hopefuls from professional or executive background back into work.
Hosted by Jobcentre Plus and the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) at Cardiffs Millennium Stadium, the scheme will help newly unemployed people find a new job.
The initiative will advise professionals and executives on modern job hunting techniques and how to transfer or update existing skills to secure sales recruitment success.
Philip Curry, external relations advisor for the REC, said that this conference is a practical example showing how the recruitment industry is playing an active role in helping people back into sales jobs.
More than 50,000 professional jobseekers have been assisted by the programme nationwide which shows that the private recruitment industry, working in tandem with Jobcentre Plus, is playing a vital role in the fight against the recession, he added.
Earlier this week, professionals and executives were warned by a number of experts about lying on their CVs, with common mis-truths being made in the salary and gap between employment sections.
