Identifying priorities and goals a key to sales recruitment
People who are hunting for sales recruitment opportunities need to identify what their priorities and goals are for the coming years, according to an expert.
Julie Clare, a careers coach for the Careers Advice Service, said that whether people are looking to get back into work or are seeking a change, they should make sure that they follow a number of steps to help them.
The expert added that people need to find out what makes them tick, whether it is finding a healthy work/life balance or gaining promotions.
She also commented that sales recruitment hopefuls need to take the time to asses their qualifications and skills, while also defining what career direction they want to head in.
"It's not just about what you can do, it's what you want to do that matters. It's really important that you try to find a role that will be satisfying and fulfilling. It might sound simple but think about what's important to you," she added.
A recent survey by StudentGems.com said that 72 per cent of sales recruitment firms preferred relevant experience over qualifications.
