Majority of employer relationships are 'very good'
A large percentage of people working in sales jobs have very good relationships with their line manager, according to a new survey.
Sales recruitment specialists Aaron Wallis' Sales Survey 2009 showed that 39 per cent of respondents said that their relationship with the person who is in immediate charge of them was very good, while 17 per cent said that it was excellent.
This amounts to 56 per cent who experience a positive rapport, while a further 29 per cent said that their relationship with bosses was average and six per cent said that theirs was 'poor'.
However, in 2007, 92 per cent of people in sales jobs said that they had an average or above camaraderie with their manager, which has dropped to 85 per cent this year.
Advice website eHow has listed a number of guidelines of how to improve employee-boss relationships, stating that people should remember that bosses are human too and employees should look at where they might have been at fault in making their partnership rocky.
