Business Development Manager, Design and Build

Business Development Manager, Design and Build, £45,000 to £60,000 Basic, £80,000 OTE, London. This is a senior sales role with a medium sized specialist design and build contractor looking for a business developer with the potential to step up to Sales Manager in 12 months and an equity holding board member within 36 months. The company are experts in their field with terrific account retention and brilliant testimonial points from major clients across many sectors including banking, insurance, lawyers, accountancy practices, etc.

The role is suitable for a genuine business developer from within the design and build sector that is very autonomous and is looking for a role where they can implement their own strategy, recruit their own team and drive the sales side of the business forward. Employing their own installations teams and directly managing specialist sub-contractors, the company have a brilliant reputation and their work is mainly within London and the South East.

To apply you will have experience in design and build, office refurbishment or similar and be a positive, proactive business developer that does not require 'hand holding' and will come to the business with new ideas, new methodologies and new working practises. It is expected that you will have at least 3-5 years within design and build sales and you will be expected to deliver £750K of new projects within the first 12 months. You will be a member of the senior management team from day one and based upon your initial success you will be tasked with recruiting your own team of sales executives and sales support - stepping into the role of sales manager. The company deliberately want to lock this individual for the long term so are willing to offer equity as part of the long term package. In addition the bonus scheme is totally uncapped and based upon £1M of new business revenue at the right margins there is no reason why the earnings will not be six figures plus.
