Sales and Product Manager

Sales and Product Manager, Architectural Plastics, Bedfordshire, UK. £40,000 - £45,000 Basic + Fully expensed company vehicle + Excellent benefits.
Leading manufacturer of architectural plastics require a Sales and Product Manger to work with the existing customer base and develop new relationships. Our client who has been established for 40 years hold a fantastic position within many different sectors. Boasting market leading product manufacturing capabilities internationally they are a fantastic company in a rapidly moving sector.

This is a company with an award winning track record of product development and they require a proven Manager to work closely with key distributors, wholesalers and end users. The role therefore needs an individual with excellent rapport building and communication skills to ensure that relationships with distributors continue. There will be a significant involvement with European Distributors which will demand infrequent visits to them to further nurture the accounts.

Your experience should primarily be involved within Kitchens and Bathrooms. You should have significant experience of selling into, managing and developing business with distributors and large independent retailers.

Essential background

+ Proven track record in account management
+ Working knowledge of distribution
+ Experience of selling into key DIY retailers

Preferable background

+ Specification sales
+ Sales of kitchen or bathroom materials into retail
+ Fluent in a European language

This role offers great room for movement and the opportunity for you to make you mark within a rapidly advancing and fast changing sector.
